How is AstroPal different from other astrology apps?▾
Every interpretation is grounded in either (a) a value the chart engine actually computed for your chart (Shadbala, Bhavabala, current dasha) or (b) a scripture passage retrieved from 16 indexed classical texts. If a passage cannot be retrieved, the answer says so honestly — no invented citations.
How accurate is the chart computation?▾
AstroPal’s engine is Goravani-validated — cross-checked against the Goravani Jyotish Studio reference (the 30-year industry standard) across Shadbala, Bhavabala, Ashtakavarga, and the divisional charts. We use Lahiri ayanamsa (sidereal) and Whole-Sign houses (Parashari), the canonical methods for Vedic chart computation.
Which languages does AstroPal support?▾
English at launch, with Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese rolling out. The translation engine preserves citation accuracy — scripture passages stay in their original language with the surrounding summary translated.
How do payments work?▾
Indian customers subscribe via Razorpay — monthly or annual, cancel anytime. Annual plans save approximately 16%. International (USD) payment via PayPal is being added.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?▾
You keep access to the paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account drops to the Explorer (free) tier — your chart and conversation history are preserved, but question quotas and PDF exports return to free-tier limits.
Can I get a refund?▾
Refunds are handled per our published Refund Policy. In short: contact us within 7 days of your initial subscription if you experience a clear technical failure; we will review case by case. Refunds are not given for dissatisfaction with prediction outcomes, since astrology is interpretative.
Is my birth data private?▾
Yes. Your birth date, time, and place are stored encrypted in our Mumbai-region Supabase database, never sold, never shared with third parties. You can request full deletion at any time via privacy@astropal.ai (within 30 days per our Privacy Policy).
Does AstroPal give medical, legal, or financial advice?▾
No. AstroPal provides astrological guidance for informational and entertainment purposes only. For health, legal, or financial decisions, consult qualified professionals. See our Disclaimer.
What if I am not sure about my exact birth time?▾
You can mark birth time as “unknown” during onboarding. The engine will use solar-chart logic instead. Dasha-based timing predictions will be less precise, but planetary-strength and yoga analysis still work.
Can I add multiple birth charts (family, partner)?▾
Yes — Seeker plan allows 3 saved profiles, Sage allows 10, Oracle is unlimited. Useful for partners, children, parents.
Are PDF reports included?▾
Seeker: 3 PDFs / month. Sage: 5 / month. Oracle: unlimited. Explorer (free) does not include PDF export.
