This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including (without limitation) the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules thereunder.
Subject to the rights of users under their local data-protection laws (including GDPR for users in the European Economic Area and CCPA for California residents), any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Nothing in this section limits a user's right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India or any other competent regulatory authority.

This section explains AstroPal's approach to compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) in India.
1. Data Fiduciary and Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act:
- AstroPal is the "Data Fiduciary" (entity collecting / processing personal data).
- The user is the "Data Principal" (person whose data is collected).
2. Personal Data Collected
AstroPal may collect personal data including:
- name
- phone number
- birth details (date / time / place of birth)
- payment transaction records
- communication and chat messages
- device and usage data
3. Purpose of Collection
We collect personal data only for lawful purposes including:
- generating astrology outputs and charts
- account registration and authentication
- delivering paid services and reports
- fraud prevention and security

4. Consent-Based Processing
